Sales & Project Management for a small Architectural Design studio
Vacancy expired!
We do about 50 residential design projects each year, ranging from small-scale additions & remodels to full custom new-build home designs, and project fees range from $1,500-$7,500. I want to grow the business so that we can handle more projects, offer a wider variety of services, and systematize and outsource as much of the work as possible.
I use Trello to manage my projects and my sales leads, and I need someone to help reach out to these leads, take notes on their project goals, and follow up with them to try and win the project. Then I would need help setting project checkpoints and collecting media & information from the clients to complete their project efficiently.
The 2 main skills that this job would require are:
1. BEING ORGANIZED: Using app & website, Trello, to manage & organize Projects & potential clients.
2. INDUSTRY EXPERTISE: Understanding the Architectural Design & Construction Process well enough to speak with clients about the projects, give them project estimates & advice, and instill confidence that we can get the job done.
#1 is fairly simple, you can watch some youtube videos about Trello to learn the basics, and then I can show you exactly how our system works. But #2 will require some training, especially if you aren't familiar with the Architecture & Construction industry. I am willing to invest time in training and teaching someone about the industry and how we work specifically, but we will have to get creative with the compensation during this time. After that, compensation will partially depend on sales commissions, as a percentage of the jobs won.
