Honl Tree Care is looking for a new climber/ground crew member!

Southeast Portland's premier tree care company is looking to add to our team! We are a medium-size company that offers a very happy work environment, PTO and opportunities for growth. We are seeking an honest, trustworthy and cheerful crew leader to join our staff!

1. Ground Assistant-

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all non-climbing aspects of tree work, including climber support, pruning, planting, and removal

Ensure quality and safety on the job

Work to specifications of work orders and permits

Interact with clients in a communicative, friendly, and respectful manner

Clean work sites and care for equipment

Required Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of horticulture and arboriculture practices

Experienced and skilled in tree care and tree removal

Exacting attention to detail with pruning and other tasks

Ability to lift 50 lbs.; ability to work outdoors throughout the year

Ability to safely maintain and operate necessary machinery

Friendly and warm with clients, co-workers, and office staff

Reliable and communicative

Ideal Qualities & Experience:

Solution-oriented approach to problems

Goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction
