Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Leader Manager to join our team as a Project Manager/Construction Superintendent. This role is pivotal in overseeing the planning and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring the submission of accurate and competitive bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, including reviewing project plans and specifications, conducting takeoffs, and preparing cost estimates.
Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential information for addressing production issues.
Leadership in Construction: Demonstrate proven ability to lead and guide trades in hands-on residential construction projects.
Scope and Contracts: Analyze project requirements to develop a comprehensive scope of work, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
Software Utilization: Utilize tools such as Contractor Foreman to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
Cost Monitoring: Track project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to budget.
Team Development: Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to the estimating team, including junior estimators.
Skills:
Construction Expertise: Strong background in residential construction estimating and project management.
Cost Control Proficiency: Knowledge of cost control techniques to manage project budgets effectively.
Analytical Ability: Proven analytical skills to accurately assess project requirements and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
