Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to be a part of our team based in Shreveport, Louisiana. The individual will be instrumental in overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing accounts receivable functions. This includes ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, efficient collection of payments, and resolution of any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable. Responsibilities: Oversee the generation and distribution of accurate and timely invoices to customers Ensure invoices comply with relevant regulations and internal policies Coordinate with sales, operations, and other departments to obtain necessary information for invoicing Develop and implement effective strategies for timely collection of outstanding payments Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies or disputes promptly and professionally Evaluate creditworthiness of new customers and establish appropriate credit terms and limits Oversee the accurate and timely application of payments received to customer accounts Ensure proper recording and documentation of all transactions related to accounts receivable Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve efficiency Prepare regular reports and analysis on accounts receivable metrics, including aging reports and cash flow projections Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls related to accounts receivable. Requirements Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role or related field Demonstrable skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) are essential Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role is required Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients Ability to oversee and manage accounts receivable team effectively Proficient in using various accounting software and applications Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports Must have problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.For confidential consideration, please reach out to Emily Schneller, Robert Half Recruiting Manager, at 504-264-5922.
