Civil Engineer - Land Development Design

The successful candidate should be an ambitious self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills, who can work both independently and cooperatively with peers, clients, consultant team members, and municipalities.

We’re a small firm that works collaboratively on a wide variety of projects, ranging from roadway design and multi-family developments to utility scale solar farms and golf course renovation projects. We are located downtown San Francisco near Union Square, conveniently surrounded by public transportation. The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with project managers to achieve project goals

Design site improvements and prepare construction documents such as Site, Horizontal Control, Grading, Pavement, Utility and Erosion Control Plans.

Coordinate design documents with clients, architects, and sub-consultants.

Prepare quantity and cost estimates, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, and hydrology & hydraulic analyses.

Perform site walks and attend project meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. An EIT or PE is preferred.

Experience with AutoCad is required. Experience with Civil 3D and Bluebeam is a plus
