Additionally, you will be responsible for providing deep technical knowledge and architectural design mentorship at a platform and portfolio level and will be a key contributing architect on large/complex projects with a variety of components. Architecting for Security: Design and implement robust network architectures that prioritize security, resilience, and scalability in AWS, Azure, and on-premises data centers.

Firewall Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of firewalls to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.

Load Balancing Expertise: Implement and manage load balancers (ALB/NLB) to ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical applications.

Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX) and internal security policies, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.

Security Automation: Develop and implement automated security processes to enhance efficiency and reduce the risk of human error.

Threat Mitigation: Collaborate with security teams to investigate security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and implement effective countermeasures.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with security vendors (e.g., F5, Netskope, Palo Alto Networks, Akamai) to ensure optimal performance and support.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Proven track record of designing and implementing secure network architectures in complex environments.

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), cloud security best practices, and web application firewalls (WAF).

GRC Expertise: Familiarity with GRC frameworks and the ability to translate security requirements into technical solutions.

Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

Certifications: CISSP, CCNP Security, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
