Temporary Job working in Blueberries

We have started harvest on our Orgnic blueberry farm and the crop is heavy this year so we need 2 or 3 more people to work either in the field picking up filled flats and transporting to our cooler or working in our packing shed packing the fruit. The packing shed is refrigerated so during this hat time of year one is working is a cool to cold environment. In the field it's a different story and this takes more physical effort so it's generally a young man's sport!

The work runs 5 days a week from now through about mid Septemeber so if one is college bound this might work well for you. Must be physically fit and able to work all day lifting, carrying and stacking 20# flats.

Work in the packing shed involves placing filled packages in cartons and stacking or sealing the cartons and moving back to the cooler. Not too physically demanding but it is cold so one must dress accordingly.

Pay is minimum wage with a $1/hr bonus if you stay to the end of the season.
