Automotive Technician / Mechanic Immediate Opening

Litchfield Auto Repair is expanding once again. We are looking for a very well qualified Diagnostic Technician. We would like to see someone with Master Technician skills having the ability to properly diagnose and repair vehicles. Euro and Diesel experience is a plus. We are a family owned and operated facility with the most state of the art equipment. All of our family is on an hourly pay with NO commission. This is why our guys have been here from 5 to 10 years. This is a friendly atmosphere shop without having all the drama that commission brings. The better you perform the more you make. No need to ask for a raise. If you earn more than your wage, we bump your hourly up. Everyone always gets the most value for their work this way. No waiting for jobs to be picked up, to get paid. No hassle over who inspected the vehicle and who gets the work. No cherry picking. It's all gravy all the time. Even get paid when its warranty work. Hours are Monday thru Friday 7A.M. to 5 P.M. with an hour lunch. We offer paid holidays, vacation days, sick time, WTF time. (this is when we decide to just close an extra day for whatever reason). We close from Christmas to New Years and you get paid for that too. This is the kind of place you can just come to work and do your thing and still make great money. No flat rating, or cutting corners to make up time. Just quality work for a quality company.

Requirements:

Must have valid insurable drivers license

Looking for 10 years or more shop experience

Must have had or have ASE certs (expired ok)

Must be able to diagnose and repair vehicles for any concern

Must have friendly, good communication skills

Need to be reliable and on time

Need to have experience with software and able to understand repair guides

Compensation is based on experience. We have NO limits. Everyone here makes great money and you will too. Getting to work with other technicians, rather than against other technicians will improve your skills. We ask that you improve ours in return.
