Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Vegan Line Cook to work in our vibrant kitchen. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating delectable vegan dishes, inspiring our customers, and contributing to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and execute vegan recipes with precision and consistency.

- Assist with daily kitchen prep work, including washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients.

- Set up and maintain an organized and efficient line during service hours.

- Cook and plate dishes in accordance with our recipes and presentation standards.

- Ensure food quality, taste, and safety by following health and safety guidelines.

- Collaborate with the head chef to create new vegan menu items and specials.

- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including equipment and utensils.

- Manage inventory and assist with ingredient sourcing and ordering.

- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to the positive kitchen culture.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment.

- A passion for and deep knowledge of vegan cooking and ingredients.

- Excellent knife skills and a strong understanding of culinary techniques.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining precision.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

- Ability to adapt to a changing menu and to contribute to creative recipe development.
