Restaurant Cashier / Kitchen Prep

We are a small teriyaki restaurant in Van Nuys.

We are looking for a restaurant worker to learn cashier and do kitchen prep in the back.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepping the restaurant for open.

Taking customer orders at the counter and over the phone.

Serving food on the line.

Bagging orders.

Keeping the front of house clean and orderly.

Prepping food for cooking.

Keeping back of the house clean and orderly.

Taking out trash.

Some restaurant experience is preferred.

We are looking for someone with a friendly and upbeat attitude.

Someone who is responsible and dependable.

Someone who lives nearby or has reliable transportation.

Someone who can move quickly.

Pay is $17 / HR

$2/ HR cash bonus paid monthly for not missing work, coming on time, and completing all your tasks.

$1000 bonus in 6 months if you missed work less than 5 times.
