Sell new product prototypes and scale early adoption process; champion establishing new customers for new products early in the product lifecycle.
Build, manage, and continuously advance the funnel of early adopters to engage with new product prototypes.
Provide quantitative and qualitative feedback from customers to inform the product development lifecycle and provide insights to accelerate strategic opportunities for IDT’s agile innovation process
Provide strong leadership and vision for the agile innovation team at IDT, with a specific focus on leading the team to build new commercial partnerships to drive incremental revenue growth and winning KPIs from early access to full commercialization handoff.
Collaborate with the business unit and commercial to synthesizes customer learnings into go-to-market decisions, opportunities to up sale and cross sale, and address customer needs during transition to IDTs sales organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in life science (biology, genetics, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.), business, or related field
8+ years of experience in customer facing roles, such as sales, field applications, technical support, product management, etc. within the life sciences/biotechnology industry with a proven track record of leadership, exceeding targets, and successfully building partnerships
3+ years of demonstrated ability to apply a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and business acumen, with the ability to translate customer insights and needs into actionable strategies and initiatives that drive business growth and customer value
3+ years of demonstrated experience with effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international travel
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Applications experience within NGS, PCR, molecular profiling, etc.
Cross-functional experience in delivering customer-centric solutions that meet customer needs, while opening up scalable, new market solutions

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
