What You Can Expect Day-to-Day

Overseeing all recruiting functions, the following are some of the core daily activities you’ll perform:

Provide full cycle, start to finish recruiting for all candidates

Recruit utilizing social media, online ads, and other relevant events (trade shows, career fairs, etc.)

Develop and post job ads for all open positions

Partner with leadership to create job descriptions, job ads, recruiting materials, and onboarding information

Conduct screening calls to determine and select qualified candidates

Schedule all initial and follow-up interviews with candidates and the internal team

Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future roles

Conduct background and reference checks for selected candidates

Negotiate and finalize all employment offers

Complete and maintain all hiring paperwork

Assist with onboarding new hires

Stay apprised of industry trends, wages, and other related recruitment information that impacts hiring and advise/make recommendations to leadership accordingly

Ad hoc requests, as needed

Minimum Required:

This is a part-time, remote recruiting opportunity.

Associates Degree or Recruiting and/or Human Resources equivalent experience

2+ years of recruiting experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Proven recruitment success (volume of hires, etc.), including building a pipeline

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Deep understanding of best recruiting and HR practices and procedures, including state law

Strong experience in remote recruiting, preferably in the construction industry

Ability to prospect, network, and manage entry to senior-level relationships

Team player who thrives in helping others succeed

Hands-on, strategic, problem solver

Innovative, out-of-the-box thinker

Preferred

HR/recruiting certification(s)
