Whether you are an experienced pro or a newly licensed cosmetologist ready to launch your career we have a custom path for growth at Spoke & Weal.

Each team member will learn, understand, and perform salon operations and guest-booking; perform cleaning and maintenance for salon operations including laundry, dishes, sweeping, dusting, disinfecting; understand and contribute to guest-centered team-based salon services; prep hair for dry-cutting, blow-dry and finish guests after color services, and perform signature rituals on guests. Every member is expected to engage in continued learning via advanced cutting and/or color training with Jon Reyman, Christine Thompson, and our master team as well as attend weekly model workshops and develop your styling skills via our academy program. Work with some of the best hairdressers in the world.

Requirements:

You genuinely like people! We are in guest services and we're nothing without the guests we serve.

You're a hard worker. Our salon floor gets very busy; we hustle. If you enjoy working shoulder-to-shoulder with people who love what they do this is a good fit.

You are not afraid to do laundry, sweep, and answer the phone.

You instinctively look for what can or needs to be completed next!

You are able to prioritize tasks in a way that makes sense to a guest centered environment.

Excellent verbal communication skills (or more importantly, a willingness to learn and adapt to communication-obsessed culture) is a must.

compensation: $18/hr base + gratuity (tips pooled for support team) and commission if applicable; health benefits, equinox membership, and 401(k)
