EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

1-2 years baking experience preferred. That includes any any all variety; pizza, cakes, pies, pastry, and obviously, bagels! But we are always willing to train a motivated person with a passion to learn

Ability to lift up to 30lb and comfortable working in front of a hot open oven

Shifts start between 1-2am, so must be an early riser! Both weekend and weekday availability needed

We strongly value candidates who possess strong communication skills, both in person and written. Bilingual a definite plus

A Food Serve Safe Certificate – Required to have certification within 30 days of employment and demonstrate proficiency in proper food handling and storage

High school diploma or GED preferred, and must be at least 18 years of age

Loving bagels! It's not requiredbut it couldn't hurt:)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining our extremely high standards of product quality through proper rotation, proofing and cook times

Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation. This includes daily maintenance, as well as weekly cleaning projects

Prepping vegetables and cream cheese for cafe, when needed

Communicating daily w/ supervisors and co-workers. Including daily checklist and shift notes
