DC Restaurant Group seeking creative, leader and mentor to join their culinary team.

Position: Exec Sous Chef (This is a working Chef position. (It is not an administrative position)

A hands-on approach to develop and promote learning for all back of culinary employees.

Upholding the highest standards of food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests.

Understand flavor profiles, simplicity of ingredients with finesse

Bring your creativity to our menu and create the specials for the week.

Ensure consistent execution of company policies.

Manage labor hours, COGS and kitchen waste.

Teach the Restaurant's Core Values to all new hires and existing team.

Attend all necessary senior management meetings.

What Makes You Great:

You get joy out of using the passion of cooking to make people happy and are able to have fun while working.

A love for the hospitality industry.

You have 2-3 years working as a Jr Sous or Sous Chef.

Strengths in maintaining targeted Labor costs and targeted COGS.

You take the initiative and don't give up

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
