You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented assembly mechanics. You will be provided with on-the-job training and learning experiences. You will facilitate preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. You will mentor and teach less experienced assembly mechanics.Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with internal procedures
Participate in project teams
JSA follow-ups
Tier II/III meetings
Test equipment
Point person for calibrations
Perform administrative duties
Resolve technical issues
Equipment troubleshooting
Equipment Repair
Test equipment and components
Identify parts for replacement
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee statusAll applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.p>YOU MUST HAVE High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly
Strong knowledge of assembly techniques and procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsWE VALUE FAA certification or relevant industry certifications
Experience with aerospace or aviation assembly
Attention to detail and quality orientation
