CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

Command Technology is a fully air-conditioned machine shop, now hiring a full-time CNC Lathe Machinist to program Aerospace and Industrial parts, for both prototype and production runs including set up & running machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily:

Create CNC Programming and setup tools using Okuma OSP300L control.

Knowledge of complex (+/-.001 or lower, TP <=.005,) machining jobs

Perform and CNC setups and run machines

Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.

Advanced knowledge of CNC machines with Okuma controls

Live tooling and twin turrets models LU-3000 & LU-3000 EX-MY.

Qualifications:

Machining Experience:5+ years machining experience and 3+ years programming experience required.

Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of Okuma OSP300L software/ control. Must be able to program from control.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 Lbs. Must be comfortable working in a Manufacturing facility. Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.

Compensation Information: This is a full-time, direct hire position. 1st Shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00a-4:00p and Friday 7:00a-1:00p.

Pay for this job type falls within the following range and varies based on scope and complexity of job responsibilities and experience: $24-35/hr
