This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Operate the scale system to accurately weigh trucks and loads, recording data as required. Ensure all weights and transactions are documented properly in the system.Provide courteous and professional service to drivers and customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding weights and fees.Enter data into the company’s computer system, including weights, truck information, and transaction details. Verify the accuracy of all entries.Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of all transactions, including weight tickets and billing information.Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Ensure that all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the scale equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.Coordinate with dispatch and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues related to scale operations.Assist with general office tasks such as filing, organizing paperwork, and managing correspondence as needed.
