Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex.How will you make an impact in this role?The Technology Portfolio Transformation team is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Program Manager to support the Technology Portfolio Management organization. This role will be integral to the continuous growth and development of the team, focusing on change management and communications strategy and execution for stakeholders across the entire American Express enterprise. The successful candidate will have the opportunity on a wide range of initiatives and portfolio transformation tasks to ensure that partners are informed and brought along on the journey.Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications Strategy: define what a successful communications strategy delivers for the organization by setting success measures, establishing a baseline, and driving toward desired outcomes

Communications Roadmap: drive and prioritize larger projects to improve the effectiveness of internal communications over time

Communications Look and Feel: steward a cohesive and effective look and feel across emails and communications coming from the Technology Portfolio Management organization by establishing design templates and standards for content

Directory Management: create distribution lists for communications by leveraging available tools and define any new processes or responsibilities needed to keep these up to date

Coordination and Execution: serve as a central resource for sending out communications to large audiences and identify ways to combine and streamline communications to reduce information overload for audiences

Change Management: provide support for transitions in processes or tooling changes by serving as a consultative partner in communications best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

3 years of experience as a Program Manager

Bachelor's Degree

Experience with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Organizational skills: excellent organizational and planning skills are essential

Proactive and detail-oriented: ability to think “end-to-end” and work autonomously to make progress

Integrity: strong sense of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain complete confidentiality

Communication skills: excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate concepts into digestible content for audiences of all levels

Collaboration: experience operating with large cross-functional teams

Strategic decision making: ability to prioritize initiatives to best deliver upon desired outcomes

Problem-Solving: Ability to efficiently prioritize, solve problems independently, escalate appropriately, manage tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities

Team player: comfortable working in ambiguity and willing to take on incremental responsibilities as needed

Graphic design – optional, but preferred: ability to create visually compelling communications templates to effectively communicate to various audiences

Excel in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the transformation and strategic success of the Technology Portfolio Transformation team.

QualificationsSalary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
