Description We are currently seeking a Temporary Accounting Clerk to join our team in Okarche, OK and assist with essential accounting tasks.Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Accounting Clerk to support our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining financial records. This temporary role is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in accounting or seeking short-term employment.Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

Prepare and maintain financial documents and records.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports.

Handle accounts payable and receivable.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Provide support during audits and other accounting projects.

Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Previous experience as an accounting clerk is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills.

Requirements Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in the accounting field. Proficiency in accounting software systems is required. Experience in using Adobe Acrobat and Dynamics NAV is preferred. Knowledge of ERP solutions is a plus. Proficient in account coding, account analysis, and accounting entries. Familiarity with accounting functions and account reconciliation. Experience in handling accounts payable (AP) is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and dependability. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
