Head Bartender (Hourly)
We are seeking an experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar program. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of classic cocktails and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while consistently delivering exceptional service. We are looking for someone with a positive, upbeat attitude and a strong sense of ownership. General Duties
● Assist the bar manager in operation of the bar at Guacaya Bistreaux to maximize
profitability, minimize legal liabilities, and conform to alcoholic beverage regulations.
● Create a positive and friendly work environment for all team members.
● Contribute to R&D for menu development and execute seasonal beverage updates in
conjunction with the bar manager and beverage consultant.
● Ensure all staff are following recipes, steps of service and order of operations.
● Consult with the bar manager and assist in coordination of ordering new spirits or products.
● Give direct feedback on equipment needs to the bar manager.
● Investigate and resolve complaints concerning beverage/food quality or service.
● Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance for the
bar.
● Ensure all prep, juices and batches are being stored properly, labeled, and FIFO procedures
are being followed.
Administrative and Financial
● Oversee and manage bar team labor vs sales for all staff.
● Participate in beverage inventory each month and ensure accurate counting and data entry
alongside the bar manager.
● Participate in monthly beverage education and training with the bar manager and Chef and
GM and Casqara Consulting.
