AUTO BODY SHOP YARD ATTENDANT

We are looking for a responsible and organized Auto Body Shop Yard Attendant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving vehicles around the yard, preparing them for repair jobs, and ensuring an organized and efficient workspace.

This position is crucial to maintaining the flow of operations in our busy auto body shop.

Key Responsibilities:

- Move vehicles within the yard and into designated areas for repair.

- Assist in setting up vehicles for specific repair tasks as per technicians' instructions.

- Ensure the yard is organized and free of obstacles to allow for easy movement of vehicles.

- Conduct basic vehicle checks, such as ensuring cars are locked and secure.

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the yard and around the shop.

- Assist with minor tasks around the shop as needed, such as cleaning and light maintenance.

- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage to vehicles.

You will need:

-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Ability to drive and maneuver various types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.

- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
