Sodexo is seeking our Environmental Services Custodial Manager to lead the team a Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. Be bilingual Spanish

Manage first and second shifts

Manage Departmental Fiscal Responsibility

Be a Hands-On leader, manage by example

Provide immediate response to client concerns

Develop improvement plans for any deficiencies

Ensure a safe working environment or all employees

Be a critical thinker, adapt to a changing environment

Order and maintain proper levels of supply and equipment

Effectively manage Sodexo’s SMS, CMMS and Operating Systems

Demonstrate willingness to perform at a high level in a team environment

Manage proper use of all tools including, chemicals, floor care equipment

Train employees and provide inspections, evaluate success and challenges

Build supply and inventory system - track consumables of custodial supplies

Perform all trash and recycle removal on and at designated off campus sites

Provide a clean and safe environment for clients customers, visitors, and staff

Manage a team of 35+ employees including timely interviewing and following procedures for hiring

Ensure customer satisfaction in housekeeping services, waste removal, and campus event management

Operate custodial equipment including but not limited to wet and dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers and electric carts

Have ability to work independently to drive program compliance for custodial department and motivate a diverse staff and by managing through shift supervisors
