IS-Administrative Support Specialist - (FL-RAEN Dept.) Part-time, 12 months/yr.

Clerical and office support for the Director of the Finger Lakes Regional Adult Education Network (FL RAEN) to provide professional development and technical support for adult education programs in the region.TYPICAL DUTIES:

Provide general clerical support for FL RAEN Office, i.e. filing, answering telephones, scheduling, etc.

Assist the FL RAEN Director with logistical functions including travel arrangements, meeting organization and preparing training resources.

Support fiscal responsibilities of the FL RAEN Office such as preparing and submitting quarterly invoices and monitoring MWBE expenses and the FL RAEN budget.

Coordinate sites for professional development training sessions and regional Program Managers’ Meetings.

Monitor attendance and enter professional development hours in ASISTS database. Prepare and distribute quarterly Professional Development Reports.

Provide clerical support for regional adult education program self-reviews, Individual Technical Assistance Plans (ITAP) and Corrective Action Plans.

Update FL RAEN website and calendar with appropriate AEPP memos and information that supports the mission of the FL RAEN Office.

Perform other duties as assigned by the FL RAEN Director.

Job QualificationsMust possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title Office Clerk III or IV. Clerical experience strongly preferred, including word processing and data base knowledge. Experience: Knowledge and background in adult education and funding sources, EPE and WIOA funding, NRS/NYRS regulations, and use of ASISTS database preferred. Educational: Must either currently hold an Office Clerk III or Office Clerk IV title or be registered for the next exam.Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title Office Clerk III or IV.
