Your Impact:The Cloud Ops Platform Engineer II position is a part of a team that maintains and improves multiple mission-critical applications located in the AWS Gov Cloud. The team is fully cloud-based and focuses on the automation of all tasks utilizing a CI/CD pipeline. This pipeline includes an automated transfer of data/projects to multiple domains via a cross-domain solution. The team utilizes agile methodologies to plan projects and tasks and break them down into 2-week sprints. The team is made up of cloud engineers and developers working closely together to complete projects. We are looking for engineers/developers that want to implement and learn cutting-edge cloud technologies and services to support our customer and their multiple national security missions.This position is a hybrid position with two days onsite at our customer’s location in the District of Columbia and allows for 3 days a week of remote work. Additional onsite days are only required based on mission need.#divergentHere’s what you’ll need :

Minimum 5 years of experience performing development and deployment activities on a private/public cloud solution or a comparable high availability environment 1 year experience with 1 of the 3 major cloud service providers (Amazon, Microsoft, or Google).

Must have active TS/SCI and must be able to obtain Polygraph

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline

Provide troubleshooting and diagnostics for applications in live environments

Experience administering RHEL based operating systems

Experience implementing security controls

Proficiency in bash

Ability to create and manage server certificates

Preferred:

Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools

Excellent written communication skills

Must be able to work in a team environment

FBI Experience

AWS GovCloud / SC2S Experience

Experience with Docker containers

Experience administering Windows Server operating systems

Proficiency in PowerShell

Knowledge of Gitlab and Gitlab Runner

Experience with Hashicorp Packer

AWS certified

JIRA reporting and analysis

Knowledge of Systems development lifecycles – waterfall, agile, kanban
