Full-Time (Armed) Security Patrol – Driver

Job description:

Coldwater Protection Services is currently seeking highly competent Security Patrol Drivers to

join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a vehicle Security Patrol Driver.

Will consider prior Security Experience in Lieu of vehicle Security Patrol All available positions

are located within the South Los Angeles area. Ideal candidates must be disciplined and

operate with complete integrity and respect. Candidates must demonstrate courtesy, respect

and possess superior customer service skills and be self-aware of their actions. All candidates

must be reliable, demonstrate positive attendance and be able to work as a team. The ideal

candidate will take their role as a security officer seriously, be punctual, presentable, and

demonstrate excellent performance and communication skills. Any training on arrest and

detention, medical, CPR, tourniquet, pepper spray, military or law enforcement is highly

desirable. This is a high visibility, uniformed position requiring attention to detail, surroundings,

and the ability to de-escalate any potential crisis or situation.

Requirements:

 A valid California Driver License.

 Valid Ca. BSIS Guard Card.

 Valid Ca. BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit.

 Possession of an automatic Pistol (9mm, .40 S&W) properly licensed and registered to

the individual as owner of the weapon.

 Acceptable driving history – absolutely NO DUI convictions, license suspensions of any

type, and must have less than 1 point or driving infraction on record over past 3 years.

 High School Diploma or equivalent.

 Must possess reliable transportation.

 Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles

 As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in

accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Coldwater Protection Services will

consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with

applicable laws.

 As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a PRE-EMPLOYMENT drug

screen to the extent permitted by law.

 Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs

What to Expect:

 Provide patrol and response services in an assigned territory or route.

 Responds to client alarm activations, client related calls for service, investigates signs of

criminal activity and provides as an active deterrent.

 Maintain daily activity reports (DAR), scan checkpoints and submit incident reports when

necessary.

 Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility.

 Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility.

 Remove trespassers when necessary.

 Monitor surveillance cameras.

 Respond to reports of suspicious activity.
