Material Handler / Warehouse

Renee’s Garden, a wholesale garden seed packet company, is seeking an experienced Material Handler for daytime shift.

Our warehouse is currently located in Boulder but will be moving to Mead, CO (I-25 and HWY 66) after labor day, and this position will be a key player in the move. This is a good opportunity for someone who is well organized, reliable and self-motivated. The position will need to be forklift and order picker certified but will mainly be using the order picker or scissor lift. This is a very "hands-on" position.

Duties include:

Pull and stage seed/ packets for production runs- accurately and efficiently with minimal machine operation downtime (packet printer and seed packing machines)

Pull and weigh QA samples from finished pack runs and notify warehouse manager when weights are questionable for the 10% variance allowance. Also double checking Organic stamp when necessary

Stock finished goods into overstock locations as well as returning to stock any unused seed and empty packets

Assist with pulling filled packets for pick line restocks

Dye and mix seed for our custom blends and log weights accurately

Maintain warehouse storage in a neat and organized manner

Hand-packing smaller seed runs

Operate the high speed packet printer

Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming product

Empty trash and recycling weekly

Must be able to be become forklift and order picker certified

Must be able to operate scissor lift

Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly

Maintain inventory accuracy and material flow

Other warehouse duties as assigned (pick/pack/ stock etc…)

Compensation

$17 to $19/hr to start based on experience with an opportunity for increase after 3 months based on performance
