CNC Operator - Wood Shop

Job description

Longs Peak Cabinetworks, LLC is looking for a skilled CNC Operator. You will ensure all parts are suitable for the final product. Previous knowledge of manufacturing saws, banders, and CNC equipment is required. Must be energetic, motivated to learn, dependable, and willing to be part of a team environment.

Responsibilities

Need to have basic computer skill and the ability to stay organized.

Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures

Cut, band and CNC cabinet parts for assembly

Maintain equipment in good condition

Keep records of production quantities and time

Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts

Skills

Proven experience with saws, banders, and CNC equipment.

Ability to lift material and work in a production environment.

Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.

Good understanding of quality control principles

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition

High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated

Works hours are Monday - Thursday 6:30 - 4:00 Friday 6:30 - 11:45

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
