Must be okay with 4-6 hour shifts

All caregivers report directly to the Director of Nursing. All tasks must be completed under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing. Duties of the caregivers may include:

CNA/HHA Caregiver Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care: ADLs (activities of daily life) ie. bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, incontinence care, transfers, and ambulation. Accompany client to doctors appointments and recreational outings.

Companionship, basic food preparation, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands.

Reporting any changes to the clients mental or physical condition.

Maintain a safe and clean home environment.

Homemaker/Companion Caregiver Responsibilities:

Provide companionship/conversation.

Accompany client to doctors appointments, recreational outings, or shopping.

Encourage leisure interests and community social activities.

Provide light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, laundry, and household chores.

Reporting any changes to the client’s mental or physical condition.

Maintain a safe and clean home environment.

CNA/HHA Requirements:

Current and Active CNA License or proof of HHA training (40 hours) and must pass HHA comprehensive test

Palm Beach County HHA Caregiver Badge

Alzheimer’s/ADRD training, HIV, CPR certification

Physical within the last 6 months (must state you are free from communicable diseases)

Must own a reliable automobile, Have a Florida driver’s license, and Proof of Auto insurance

Pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening (Social Security number required)

Drug screening

Must have proof of current liability insurance

Professional reference check

Homemaker/Companion Requirements:

CPR and First Aid training

Physical within the last 6 months (must state you are free from communicable diseases)

Must own a reliable automobile, have a Florida Drivers license and Proof of auto insurance

Pass AHCA Level 2 background screening (Social Security number required)

Drug screening

Must have proof of current liability insurance

Reference check.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
