Time Commitment:

Weekends (Sat/Sun) during late mornings to early evenings (e.g. 11am-7pm).

Flexibility which time frame/window you want to do the work.

Location: Prospect Heights

Background

We are a family with a one year old child.

We’re seeking help with varied projects around the house that we’d like to hire someone for in the short term as well as to have a trusted handyman on call for other issues or projects as they come up.

Projects

Handyman: attaching cabinets into the wall, installing battery-powered curtains/blinds in windows, insulation for small spaces, etc.

Electrical: adding outlets & a power source into a closet, etc.

Qualifications

Prior handyman experience is necessary, ability to problem solve, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but also follow specific directions.

Knowledge of many types of trades is a plus (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc).

Diligent, good craftsmanship, and organized.

Preferred high level English speaker.
