Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable mechanic to handle various auto repair and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various types of vehicles

Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and ensure proper repairs

Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes

Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and repair options

Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques

Ensure a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive repair preferred

ASE certification or equivalent experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic

Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment

Strong understanding of automotive systems and components

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Pay: $30-$45 per hour, based on experience
