Role: Application Development Lead Analyst (Medicare, Part C)Overview: This position requires proficiency in writing complex SQL code and at least one programming language, in addition to database management. Also, requires strong communication, analytic and project management skills to support the benefit submission for the annual Medicare Part C bid process related but not limited to the Plan Benefit Package preparation.Responsibilities:
Annual preparations of detailed benefit documentation in compliance with CMS requirements
Assist in the creation and implementation of an internal API platform to communicate benefits to the CMS platform
Parsing complex JSON data to provide downstream benefit summaries and analytics
Complete benefit assessments and projects for corporate-wide or market-specific initiatives
Actively participates in team and other internal meetings and may present on specific topics
Qualifications:
BS in Mathematics, Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
Experience with JSON data and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) preferred
Experience within cloud development, preferably AWS preferred
Minimum 2-3 years Medicare benefits and CMS PBP interface experience preferred
Healthcare or Medicare experience
Proficient in writing complex SQL and limited some database management
Proficient in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
Strong communication and presentation skills; written/verbal proficiency
Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to produce in fast paced environment in order to meet tight deadlines
