Job Description

Searching for a reliable Heavy Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating heavy equipment on closed construction sites for the installation of underground utilities for new build construction.

Tasks include digging trenches, laying pipe, backfilling trenches, and cutting grading.

The operator will also be required to assist with all aspects of work as needed, from digging with shovels to laying pipe.

Requirements

3+ years Experience with heavy equipment

Must have experience working with wet utilities

Must have Drivers License.

Must have reliable transportation

Proficiency in excavators, loaders, and skids

MUST have the ability to grade with +/- .10', cut grade and read stakes

MUST have the ability to shoot grade with lasers

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Job Type

This is a direct placement position

$24-$30/hr depending on experience

Monday - Friday Schedule

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position. Shop is in Calhan, CO.

Projects are in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Fairplay. Must be willing to follow the work.

Work Environment

Will be working on closed commercial construction sites.
