Job Summary:

We seek dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Event Security Staff. As an Event Security Staff member, you will play a vital role in ensuring attendees, staff, and property safety and security at various opportunities for motivated individuals with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to contribute to creating a secure environment for high-profile events.

Responsibilities:

Provide a visible security presence to deter and detect any potential security threats or issues during events.

Greet and assist event attendees with a professional and friendly demeanor.

Conduct bag checks, pat-downs, and metal detector screenings to ensure compliance with event security protocols.

Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify any suspicious activities.

Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents, emergencies, or disruptions during events, including crowd control, first aid, and evacuation procedures.

Collaborate with event organizers, venue staff, and local law enforcement to maintain a coordinated security effort.

Enforce event policies and regulations to maintain order and safety.

Improve customer service by addressing event attendees' inquiries, concerns, or complaints.

Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in event security or a related field is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Familiarity with basic first aid and emergency response procedures.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in using security equipment (e.g., CCTV cameras, metal detectors).

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be at least 18 years old

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.50 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift

12 hour shift

Day shift

Overnight shift
