General laborer/ landscape $16.00 Per Hour

Title: General Laborer/Landscaper

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16/hour

Job Description:

Assist with landscaping operations, maintains grounds and landscape of a business complex. Participates with laborer, landscaper in preparing, digging, moving, and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding, and sodding lawns, and transplanting shrubs and plants, using manual and power-operated equipment.

Essential Duties Include, but not limited to

Cleans grounds using shovels, rakes, brooms, wheel barrels and hose.

Help in the relocation of large rocks that have been dug up to a pre-determined area.

Clear debris and remove waste from landscaping areas.

May dig trenches and install drain tiles.

Mows and trims lawns, using hand mower or power mower.

Dig, spread, and level soil using shovels, rakes, and other hand tools.

Install landscape edging and borders.

Install hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

Sprays trees and shrubs and applies supplemental liquid and dry nutrients to lawn and trees.

Trims shrubs and cultivates gardens.

Other duties:

Clean-Ups

Fertilizing & weed control.

Irrigation Systems

Maintenance

Digging, Trimming, Pruning, Shaping

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Good Communication Skills

Able to lift and move 50-pound items consistently throughout an 8-hour work day

Abe to work outdoors in direct sunlight.
