Busy, growing oil/HVAC company looking for full-time administrative assistant. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, attention to detail, have excellent communication and phone skills, and be able to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. They also should be able to take charge and meet tight deadlines as well as keeping up with a high phone call volume in this multi-faceted role. Must have strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills; the ability to multi-task; and good typing skills.

Daily duties to include, but are not limited to, answering telephones, accurately taking messages, meeting customers needs, scheduling, data entry, invoicing, managing account receivables, greeting customers in a warm and friendly manner, and provide ad hoc support around office as needed. Candidate must have some general knowledge of how homeowners and businesses heat and cool their buildings.

Qualifications:

Person must be conscientious, attentive to detail, willing to learn, have strong organizational and computer skills.

Experience with answering telephones in an office setting along with excellent, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to take messages accurately

Candidate must take initiative and be able to multi-task and manage their time effectively

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be familiar with office equipment.

Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills

Must be able to work well independently or as a team
