Before & After School Assistant K thru 5th Grade

Schedule Mon through Fri; 8:30-10:30 (before school) and then 2:30-6:00 (after school) split shift; earlier on Friday afternoons due to early release. Full days on non-school days.

This schedule is perfect for a college student or individual who wants time off mid-day.

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher's Assistant to join our team at a private school. The ideal candidate will assist in educating and caring for children, and supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive learning environment.

- Assist with classroom management, recess, and snacks

- Help manage student behavior and promote a positive learning atmosphere

- Work with children from Kindergarten through 5th grade most of the day.

Prefer:

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

-Live in Lake Stevens or close by. This position is a split shift.

Required:

- Complete all required training and certifications by DCYF

- Must be 21 years old

- Must be a high school graduate or GED

- Experience working with children
