Landscape Install Crew leads and Foreman

Primary Purpose:

Simple Lawns, the industry leader in landscape install in the Vancouver and Portland area, is looking for a Hardscaping and Landscaping specialist. Responsibilities: (This list may not include all the duties assigned)

-Reads job start sheet and design plan and figures out game plan with project manager

-Operates and maintains heavy equipment.

-Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

-Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

-Reports to project manager

-Drives vehicle to production locations and assigned areas.

Requirements of things we do (not required to have experience in all)

-Reading landscaping plans

-Paver Installation

-Installing rock walls and retaining walls

-Installation of irrigation

-Back flow

-Planting trees and shrubs

-Plant ID

-Working with excavators and skid steers

-Outdoor Kitchens

-Fence installs

-Carpenter for arbors, gazebos, and decks

-Outdoor lighting

-Working with flagstone

-Working with concrete

-Installing Water features

You don't have to have experience in all the Categories

Basic Position Requirements:

-5+ years proven related experience

-Working outdoors in the elements

-A valid driver’s license and drive with trailer

-No smoking

Abilities:

-Reliable and Self Motivated

-Impressive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

-Excellent time management and organizational skills.

-Organizational and multi-tasking skills

Knowledge:

-Knowledge of hand tools, small equipment and heavy equipment.

-The job environment is fast paced, results and quality oriented.

-Be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license.

-Must pass Drug test, and background check

Equipment / Tools provided:

-Dump Truck

-Standard Hand tools and wheel barrows

-Dump trailer

-Excavator and mini skid steer

-Small equipment etc
