Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. This role primarily revolves around customer service functions within the industry. The selected candidate will be part of a small team, working in a business casual environment. Responsibilities Answering inbound calls from customers and resolving their inquiries. Entering data accurately and efficiently into the system. Providing superior customer service through phone and email correspondence. Handling both inbound and outbound calls to ensure customer satisfaction. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks related to customer service. Processing customer orders and ensuring their correct entry in the system. Scheduling appointments for customers as required. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment Proficient in handling both inbound and outbound calls Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to provide excellent customer service, addressing customer needs and resolving issues efficiently Experience in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Able to manage email correspondence professionally and effectively Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for record keeping, data tracking, and reporting Experience in order entry systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate schedules effectively Flexibility to work in different shifts or extended hours if required High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized institution would be a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on individual tasks Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on the feet in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn, adapt and improve customer service skills over time Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
