Accounts Receivable Specialist
Description Robert Half has partnered with a growing construction company in Raleigh that is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidates will possess at least 2 years of AR experience in the construction or contracting industry. Experience with AIA Billing and Job Costing is strongly preferred. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, this role involves the meticulous handling of customer invoicing and collections in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities: Processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintaining up-to-date customer credit records Collaborating with divisional managers on billing, collections, and other assigned tasks Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions Managing monthly AIA billing and direct invoices through various platforms Verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data Resolving account value discrepancies with customers in a timely manner Performing administrative tasks including processing documents, filing, and data entry Supporting and reinforcing the mission, values, and culture of the organization.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the construction or contractor industry Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections Familiarity with Commercial Collections procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting Knowledge of Job Cost accounting in the construction industry Experience with AIA Billing and AIA Documents Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
