Experienced Cashier/Server for Caribbean Restaurant

Join our dynamic and fast-paced Caribbean restaurant as a cashier/server! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can efficiently and effectively interact and communicate with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the point-of-sale system, handling various payment methods including cash, gift cards, and credit cards.

Switch roles seamlessly between cashier duties, major restaurant tasks, and customer service.

Greet customers with respect, positivity, and friendliness, ensuring outstanding customer service.

Take orders, engage in suggestive selling, and manage all payment types during shifts.

Assist other restaurant personnel with smaller tasks as needed.

Carry 15-25 pounds and work in standing positions for up to eight hours per shift.

Work flexible hours, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in similar roles, preferably in Caribbean or international restaurants.

Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and various payment methods.

Excellent communication and interactive skills.

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Trustworthy, reliable, and dependable.

Team player with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for customer service.

Preferred:

Experience working in Caribbean or international restaurants.
