Office Manager

1-800 Busy Dog Basement Technologies and Construction started as a small Boston based basement waterproofing company in 1984. Over the past 3+ decades it has expanded its local presence and patented product offerings throughout New England while developing a network of strategically placed Basement Technologies dealers throughout North America.

Owner run construction company seeking a hands-on, detail oriented, highly organized individual. The ability to work in a fast paced, occasionally high stress environment is critical.

The position will work directly with the Owner, General Manager and each department’s direct manager to ensure all daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Office Operations:

Conduct monthly reviews with Call Center Manager as well as other departments.

Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office and equipment and facilities.

Oversee office layout and organization, ensuring a clean and functional workspace

Administrative Support:

Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.

Prepare and process office-related documents, including and not limited to review or vendor receipts.

Maintain and update office policies and procedures.

Scheduling and Coordination:

Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.

Manage office calendar and ensure effective time management for staff.

Handle PTO Request for team members and ensure adequate staffing levels

Communication and Liaison:

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.

Address and resolve any office-related issues or concerns.

Coordinate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives.

Human Resources Support:

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Maintain employee confidentiality.

Qualifications:

4 Year Degree Preferred in Business Management but prior expierience will be considered.

Previous experience in office administration or other related fields.

Computer literate (Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint & Word) is a must

Ability to delegate, prioritize and multitask.

Ability to follow through on task delegation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
