Host / Hostess

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring the smooth flow of the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.

- Manage reservations and waitlists using our reservation system.

- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.

- Maintain an organized and clean front-of-house area.

- Assist in coordinating with the serving staff to ensure efficient service.

- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the restaurant.

- Manage the flow of guests and ensure a balanced distribution of seating.

- Address guest concerns and escalate issues to management as necessary.

- Assist with maintaining the appearance and organization of the restaurant's entrance.

Qualifications:

- Fluent in Spanish and English

- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Familiarity with reservation and seating systems is a plus.

- Atender las inquietudes de los huéspedes y derivar los problemas a la gerencia según sea necesario.

- Ayudar a mantener la apariencia y organización de la entrada del restaurante.

Calificaciones:

- Fluido en español e inglés.

- Se prefiere, pero no es obligatoria, experiencia previa como Anfitrión/Anfitriona o en una función de servicio al cliente.

- Excelente comunicación y habilidades interpersonales.

- Comportamiento amigable, extrovertido y profesional.

- Fuertes habilidades organizativas y atención al detalle.

- Capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas y trabajar de manera efectiva en un entorno acelerado.

- Confiable y puntual con una fuerte ética de trabajo.

- Capacidad para trabajar en horarios flexibles, incluidas tardes, fines de semana y feriados.

- La familiaridad con los sistemas de reserva y asientos es una ventaja.
