The Western Stock Show Association (WSSA) is searching for an upbeat, motivating individual to join our Parking Operations Department as a Team Lead!

Who We Are

Founded in 1906, the Western Stock Show Association aims to invest in future generations by promoting youth and community development through livestock and equestrian education, innovation, entertainment, and competition. We are best known for putting on the annual National Western Stock Show, which has called Denver its home since the 1890s.

Outside of the best 16 days in January, our events complex keeps busy year-round by hosting horse & livestock shows, trade shows, wrestling tournaments, concerts, cheerleading competitions, car shows and more. Our Parking Operations Department plays a vital role in all of our events, welcoming guests to our complex and assisting them with any parking-related questions or needs. The Parking Ops team is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all National Western parking lots.

What We Do

Team Leads will oversee Parking Staff during events hosted at the National Western Complex. Regular assignments will include completing opening and closing duties, supervising scheduled staff, and monitoring traffic flow. Along with the rest of Parking Operations Management, it is the Team Lead’s responsibility to ensure all guests and Parking employees alike have a safe and positive experience while on our property.

Outside of events, Team Leads will work with the Parking Operations Management team to prepare for upcoming events and ensure our lots are kept presentable at all times. Additional duties will include assisting with staff scheduling, participating in the creation and set-up of lot designs and layouts, and overseeing teams scheduled to maintain parking areas.
