RN LPN Per Diem School Nurse Pool

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring RNs and LPNs for upcoming school nurse substitute assignments. We are currently working with seveal schools in and around the Rochester, NY area to assist with nurse coverage as needed. These roles are in person/onsite. Please read below and reply with an updated resume for consideration:Schedule: Per Diem through-out the school year/summerResponsibilities of the School Nurse:

Provide direct care to students and staff

Provide long-term management of students with health care needs

Monitor control of communicable diseases and infections

Accurately and consistently complete all required documentation

Provide health care screenings and referrals as needed

Aide in developing and maintaining all necessary medical, health and safety protocols and procedures

Administer medically prescribed medications to students as needed

Review all Incident Reports and provide necessary medical attention and follow-up to injuries

Qualifications for the School Nurse:

Active, unrestricted RN or LPN licensure in New York

BLS or ACLS Certification

Associates Degree in Nursing and/or graduation from an accredited nursing program

Current and valid NYS drivers license with an acceptable driving record
