Our goal is to create sustainable, comfortable, and efficient rail travel by integrating innovative technology with practical solutions.We are looking for a Global Export Control Business Partner to join us and provide guidance to the business units and assigned regions (Americas, Middle East) on all matters related to export control, sanctions, and embargo relations. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, monitoring, and managing export-related risks and implementing measures to mitigate these risks. You will also develop guidelines and implement an Export Control internal control program for Mobility globally, ensuring compliance with ICP through monitoring measures such as self-assessments and spot checks.What your day-to-day will look like:
Analyze business strategies and developments and processes derived from them for relevance to export control.
Control and develop innovative and tailor-made solutions and provide work and organizational instructions to create the necessary framework conditions.
Evaluate contract clauses, critical export processes, and contract and delivery releases.
Advise business relating to product-specific checks and coordinate required classification activities with Export Control Classification Experts.
Execution and coordination of cross-departmental and international projects, as well as participation in external foreign trade audits and internal audits and reviews.
Apply for export licenses (e.g., BAFA/BIS) and prepare official communication. Be responsible for ensuring compliance with official requirements through organizational measures.
Analyze legal/export control-relevant requirements and develop technical concepts for their integration into the IT/ERP systems - possibly also responsible for maintaining the IT solution - about a possible external tool for export control processing.
To thrive in this role, you have:
Completed your studies (Master / Diploma) in Business Administration or a comparable field or have an equivalent qualification.
Extensive expertise (5-8 years) in global export control regulations and sanctions and professional experience in import and export processing in the international project or service business.
Knowledge of organization/ processes in logistics, sales, quotation, project processing, monitoring, and controlling activities.
Experience in the area of audits/reviews is an advantage. Ideally, you also bring knowledge of product-specific checks and item classification
Excellent IT skills in logistics-relevant modules, implementing foreign trade requirements in ERP systems, knowledge of digital business models, and first experiences in artificial intelligence.
Initiative, the ability to analyze/decide, a confident manner, negotiating skills, assertiveness, and quality orientation.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

The base salary range for this position in Alpharetta, GA, Pittsburgh, PA, or Jacksonville, FL is $107,500 - $145,000; in Chicago, IL or Houston, TX, is $118,100 - $159,600; in New York City, NY, or Boston, MA, is $128,900-$174,000, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
