Job Family: SalesReq ID: 428606EV Construction Sales Engineer – Electrical InfrastructurePosition OverviewSiemens is looking for an EV Construction Sales Engineer – Electrical InfrastructureEV Construction Sales Engineer – Electrical InfrastructureThis position will be remote in the US with a preference towards Colorado.Role DescriptionCreate, implement, and execute a regional strategic account plan for the EV infrastructure value chain with respect to electrical contractors.Formulate EV infrastructure account penetration strategies for new contractor acquisition and strategic contractor pursuits to ensure pipeline growth to meet order expectations.Identify and capture new business, including leveraging and/or creating relationships, driving specifications, developing effective teaming and win strategies with contractor value chain and end-users around EV.Provide directional leadership throughout procurement phases to designated electrical contractors in collaboration with local sales engineers to progress opportunities into closing.Build, cultivate, and foster strong relationships with EV general contractors, EV distribution partners, A/E design firms and EV service providers to scale and advance business.Leverage and capitalize on EV market trends, EV federal funding priorities and EV contractor requirements to grow the electrical distribution business specific to EV infrastructure.Represent Siemens in local EV industry associations, professional organizations, and affiliations through thought leadership and speaking engagements centered around EV infrastructure.You will win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS

3+ years’ experience in electrical power distribution industry,

Ability to travel 15% of the time.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering

5+ years sales experience with electrical contractors.

Experience selling through distribution channel.

Solid understanding of the EV infrastructure market.

Exceptional customer engagement and relationship management skills

Strong consultative selling, and strategic account management skills.

Expertise in federal funded projects around EV infrastructure.

The pay range for this position is $72,400.00 - $124,100.00 and is eligible for Sales Incentive.
