Production Team Members Needed
The Production team member is responsible for their individual portion of the production line. The production line
consistent of a few unique positions with different responsibilities in the food manufacturing process and quality control.
The positions will rotate daily and on an as needed basis.
Position 1 – Hopper
Keeping Hopper filled with product (to the fill line).
Help replenish bags for Pulser (Position 2)
Position 2- Pulser
Places pouches over nozzle, press foot pedal, pass down to sealer.
Communicate with Sealer (Position 3) and adjust “Filling Pulse Value” up or down to get/keep bags on weight.
Monitor pouches, call out for help refilling if unable to fill yourself.
Position 3 - Sealer/Weight Checker
Check weight of each filled bag on scale and call out weight for every bag, until auger is on weight.
Once on weight, weighing every 5th bag, eventually 10th bag.
Monitor sealer output/bin for obstructions.
Call out to PIC/Hopper to clear.
Position 4 - Boxer/Bin Changer
Always have clean empty bin on standby.
Every other box perform a Quality Control Check on Bag Seal and Printed Date/Lot
Check Box Counts and Labels for Accuracy
Auxiliary Positions – Secondary Sealer/Quality Checks-
Weighing and Sealing bags to help sealer catch up/keep pace
Checking Seals/Dates/Appearance of FG
Bag Popper –
Positioned to right of Pulser (Position 2), need for Popper determined by speed of line.
Open empty pouches (break Ziploc) and place over nozzle (to be handed off to Pulser).
