Position Details Position Information Recruitment/Posting Title Instructor/Assistant Professor, PopQuIS, Pediatric Primary Care Department RWJ-Pediatrics-General Pediatrics Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Medical School is seeking to hire a faculty member in the Pediatric Primary Care Section of the Population Health, Quality, and Implementation Science (PopQuIS), which houses ambulatory primary care pediatrics and our generalist research mission (Lawrence Kleinman, MD, MPH Division Director) the RWJMS Department of Pediatrics is moving its academic mission for general pediatrics to an exciting new trajectory. PopQuIS is developing programs in health services and health policy research, and quality, safety, and implementation sciences.Candidate must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified/board eligible in pediatrics. At RWJMS primary care physicians see patients and mentor students and residents at our ambulatory care clinic at 1 Worlds Fair Drive, Somerset, NJ, and at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital, a facility on our academic child health campus, which also includes the PSEG Children's Specialized Hospital (for acute Rehabilitation) and the Child Health Institute of NJ. The children's hospital is adjacent to the RWJUH adult hospital which is connected via a bridge to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ - the only NCI designated center in the state of New Jersey.We are seeking a candidate who has a passion for teaching, enjoy caring for children with a wide variety of conditions including those who are medically complex.
