seeking part time companion

Seeking friendly, outgoing, and personable care giver to provide companionship and light erranding for a 78 year old man recovering from a brain injury. Duties include socializing/engaging in conversation, assistance traveling to the occasional appointment, and possibly some very light meal preparation (for example making a snack plate of cheese and crackers). Please have a car and driver’s license.

He lives with his wife, who is his main caretaker, in an apartment in Towson. Your main role would be to hang out with him while his wife runs errands and takes care of other business. He does not require assistance with activities of daily living.

This part time job would be a great fit for someone who likes hanging out with old people, can chat about photography and film, and has an interest in the caring profession. Gerontology student intern? College student looking for some extra cash in between classes? Retired photographer who wants to hang out with another photographer? Social work student looking to gain experience with a variety of populations? You might be a great fit.
